| Eileen Daly left home quite young and started modelling to
earn her keep, moving from place to place all around South London. She did
game shows, mud wrestling, kiss-o-grams, TV parts, pop promos. She also
started drama school, but dropped out.
During this time the love of her life was a director called Tim Pope who was making promos for The Cure, Siouxsie and The Banshees, Soft Cell and many more. They had met when she was only 16, moved in together and never looked back. Eileen Daly got serious about acting in her mid-20s. She always loved horror films and had wanted to star in them. So when she started getting parts in a few minor horror films, it changed her focus on what she wanted to do. It was around this time that she met producer and art director Nigel Wingrove. Together they started up the now famous film distribution company Redemption Films. Nigel Wingrove's visionary work can be seen on every cover of a Redemption released film, many of which Eileen Daly modelled for. The recognition she got from the Redemption work became the turning point of Eileen Dalys career, leading to many film roles, including Lilith Silver, the female lead in Jake West's "Razor Blade Smile", and Camilla, Anna's flamboyant flatmate, in "All About Anna". Eileen Daly has always had an interest in music and together with Ralph Cardall has formed the band Jezebel. 2003 saw the release of their first album, "Forbidden Fruit".
